I am sending my resignation letter today. Here it is:

Dear Mr. Gesalem:

This letter serves as a formal notification that I am resigning my position as Executive Secretary with The Queen City Food Chain, Inc. effective March 24, 2007. I believe that the time I have set would be enough to find a suitable replacement.

I have made this decision in order to prepare for my studies this coming semester. Thank you very much for the experiences and the learning I have gained in working with you.
