Working Sunday

Have you catch her already? For those who have not, please do visit the province's site for the mechanics.

The Catch Her If You Can photo contest had drawn different reactions from the people I've known. But then again, just try catching her till December 7, 2007 regardless of what other people might think for the province's sake. Just be sure to catch her in "her elements".

Young Blood. Here are two young mayors the province had: Mayor Duke Frasco of Lilo-an (left) and Mayor Sun Shimura of Daanbantayan (right, son of Vice Mayor Luisa Loot).

They were both dynamic, I suppose.

Oh, well, I had seen the two young mayors work during the Northern Escapade and had been impressed by their level of energy in accommodating their guests. I would remember Mayor Duke as the mexican balot vendor and Sun-sun as the yuppie who asked Rey from Gavel, "Wala pa diay mo nikaon?" when we had our dinner in their resort.

The tale of Balamban. Anyways, I was in Balamban this morning and in Carcar City in the afternoon (im writing in the office right now). Huhuhu Balamban again! I don't really know why I always get sick when I'm in Balamban!!! We were there for the Cebu Provincial Sports, Cultural and Academic Festival hosted by the towns of Balamban and Asturias.

I was sick the night before. It was my first day high! I don't know how it happened and why but I blocked out... fainting. Yes, I fainted. But I did not collapse on the floor. I was struggling not to fall down even if I am completely seeing darkness. Oh! :(

How I wish I was at home still sleeping instead of working on a Sunday. But anyways, I manage to be alive till lunch and had survived Kabkaban Festival without any signs of fainting spells. I saw Yennie too.

Carcar has been famous for pots too I thought it was only Lilo-an.

And of course, Carcar is the shoe capital of Cebu. Their sandals are also famous.

Halad alang kang St. Catherine de Alexandria.
