motion sickness and lack/too much sleep

i am not myself today. i was just staring at the long list of to do's pasted in my monitor and had waste a lot of hours doing exactly nothing. I am frustrated. i am disoriented. i felt like i am incompetent. i felt wasted.

maybe, i just wanna cry.

I just got home today from a trip in medellin, northern cebu. it was a memorable one but at the same time my mind is left in the office hoping that i was able to leave a piece of myself to work on the things left undone.

i get restless for the unwritten stories that was long over due, the task assigned to me by my bosses, the letters and my frustrations of earning money from this site. or maybe this is just caused by motion sickness?

or i lack sleep or i just had too much sleep? or maybe its my craving for a strawberry ice cream... argh!

maybe i'll sleep. sigh.

Lantawan sa Tuburan

I was in Tuburan (mid-western town of Cebu) last Saturday for various projects. And after a day's work, we were ushered to Lantawan Resort.

(Right Photo) Reggie seemed so happy and relax after we had lunch. She wasn't mindful of the camera coz she was just talking to me 'candidly' while facing Tañon Strait.

I had so much fun. There was so much to say about our little trip despite the fact that we were there because of work.

Tuburan's museum was a a wonder. They were able to preserve religious artifacts and even the table used by their very first mayor (if I am not mistaken) was also displayed. We were entertained by elders who sang Tuburan's hymn. They have very powerful voices.

Anyways, back in Lantawan resort, the presence of the Special Reaction Unit is evident. Why? Because Tuburan is infested with rebels.

Me and Reggie tried one of the rifles. The police officers were very accommodating as they showed us how to load M203 in the grenade launcher.

Even if the trip back to the city was exhausting, I could say that it was one of the amusing and valuable trip I had in the province.

The trip also made me realize how beautiful Cebu is. I did not expect that Tuburan can be picture-perfect!

I am now really looking forward for the upcoming Mid-West Suroy-suroy Sugbo!!!

Online Scrapbooking

I've got a new blog, i called Pretty Memories. While browsing other blogs, I was encouraged to make an online scrapbook.

Making scrapbook is a way to express your creative juices. I believe that this would also be a way to practice my photoshop skills.

Some of the scrapbooks i bumped into where A Cherry On Top, Shabby Princess, Mommy Scraps and I was able to register in Photomix and Scrapblog as well. The photo on the left is my header image.

Well, I am so excited to start now! I'd be updating this site for more of my scrapbooking attempts. Starting a scrapbook is just like making a project in grade school but a little advance this time as you would need a strong background in photoshop and the likes.

For those who also do scrapbooking, I would love to hear from you guys!!!

Oh, here's Jash when he was still two years old. This is a repost from Pretty Memories. Don't forget to pass by there too.

mag-suroy-suroy pud diay ang birhen

I don't know if this kind of religious barangay affairs exist in other places, but, here in our place, we have this weekly suroy of the blessed Virgin Mary. Each week, the image is transferred to another house and for the whole week, it will be under the household's care.

Last saturday, I had to be the pangulo since the elders wasn't able to bring their eyeglasses. I admit, i don't memorize the holy rosary, the different decades and the other prayers but I was thankful that I was able to get through the novena. From our house, we went to 'Na Susa's house where we read the gospel and then shared our thoughts about the readings.

I think that this is where the idea of SUROY-SUROY Sugbo was taken. Hahahahaha although this is a long-shot idea but i think that the Cebu Chamber of Commerce (who by the way was the one who proposed the idea of bringing tourism to the countryside) has been an avid supporter of Mama Mary's laag-laag.

Then they discussed about the mass earlier (mga kaadlawon) where Father Joy acknowledged one of the parishoner that was late in the mass. Hmmmm I haven't attended a Sunday mass for like months now... ana na diay ron noh? mahadlok man pud ta musimba...

When the Oslob church was razed by fire, the church, through their "most responsible" media affairs spokeperson, Msgr. Daakay, attacked the Suroy-suroy Sugbo, here's the story (Suroy-suroy Sugbo defended) for your reference.

Oh, tomorrow would be the first day of the Northern Escapade Trail. And for the very first time, Bogo City and Tabogon would be joining in the tour. Hmmmm intriga jud ni... And take note, the governor is also invited in Bogo City's fiesta this May. Watch out! She would be crowning the winner for the search of Ms. Bogo 2008!

Such a pretty and exciting development for the province. Click here for the complete story or visit Cebu Province's website.

Miscellaneous thoughts

MY BLOG LOVE STORY: This is my 304th post. The first post for April. I am now on my third year as a resident of blogspot. I admit, there were times that i tried closing this page but after some time, I always go back and tempted to update it again. I had a very romantic relationship with this account. Cool off. LQs. Memorable events. i made several discoveries through this account. And the thought of abandoning it now seemed painful.

I was supposed to post something for April Fool's Day. Something like, "I am Leaving This Page For Good". But I didn't have the heart to do so.

So what's up for April? Hmmm I guess I would be traveling more. March was a very busy month as I was also busy working for the final requirements for my CPE (Certificate in Professional Education) in STC.

DESKTOP: Oh, the photo in this post is my current desktop background. It's actually my left hand. This was a test show while waiting for a meeting to start. When I re-checked my photos and found this, i thought of Yotchie: time stops when i'm with you. Nagbinayot na pud ko! Pasensiya nah!

WORK: I had a very busy day covering meetings while attending to different demands to write this letter and that. Ni-topas gyud ko. Pasensiya na lang sa nasingkahan. It was really unintentional. It's just that I don't want to be shove into somehting that I don't understand. And my allergies kept on coming back. I'm off to the nearest pharmacy to buy anti-hestamine.

ALLERGIES: For two weeks now, my allergies kept on coming back.

I am now starting worry about it. I really need to see a doctor within this week.

I tried drinking histacort but it doesn't seem to work.

Mama said that maybe because I am always stressed. Hmmmm well, I guess I can also blame myself for that. But whatever is causing my allergies, I am sure to fight against it. I am proclaiming ALL-OUT-WAR against all the allergies in the world.

I am starting to get paranoid over allergies. I remembered Robin Cook's mysterious symptoms. Am i suffering from something that isn't normal? Did I contract a virus?

For those who shares the same sentiment with me, kindly also share.
