- CD-R King. I was in SM last week to buy some CDs and DVDs. I was about to get my priority number but found out that nihubas na ang ilang butanganan. But I guess I was fortunate enough coz there was this old woman (gikapot na tingali to siyag huwat) which gave her number to me. It read 27. And they are serving 15. Meaning, next batch nako. But at least kay 1-50 ra sila. After 25 minutes (more or less), gitawag na akong number. Daghan man gud pud ang wala pagtawag nila (siguro giapangkapoy na). Ug sa dihang binundakay ang show. I don't understand why they have to show to their customers that they are annoyed... Ug kung gikapoy sila, nganong apilon man ang customer. Kinahanglan na gyud na nila i-overhaul ilang system of serving their customers para mas dali, efficient and dili mag-antos ang mga mamalitay.
- Capitol Post Office. Kani, grabee gyud ni. It caused a heartache gyud. Pirte nako kapungot ani kay nagdali ko bah nga makapadala sa mga newspaper to the LPP. I went there twice. First in the morning but ABSENT daw ang in-charge so wala. I went back in the afternoon only to be told that I can't buy the stamps 'coz busy ang in-charge (nag-audit ang in-charge). i asked if kinsa man pwede mu-take charge coz after all, it is a post office. Ug sa dihang giingnan ko nga dili pwede kay walay lain nga pwede mubaligya! What the f*^*k! Ana diay nah? maypa manira na lang sila. I went back there ganiha. Wala nay available na 20-denomination said the in-charge. Ug sa dihang pwede ra diay nga dili stamp kay naa silay sticker! Pasabta ko! Nganong wala naman lang gyud ko ingna nga nila ana. Kinahanglan pa gyud ko magbalik-balik??? Are we going to blame it on the system again? Or tapulan ug walay initiative lang gyud sila. Nah! If makasuway mo anang naa sa window nga babaye kay maPikal gyud ka. Murag nakaminos. Isog kaayo nga murag dili musugot nga mu-mail ka. Sakto man unta sila sa weldo. Unsay problema? Tapulan lang gyud ug wala kaila kung unsa ang SERVICE.

...chances are
Last night, I heard Jeza jokingly ask, "If you are given a chance, what chance would that be?"
To my surprise, the question kept on coming back to me. So here are the many chances i listed that i wanted to have:
- A chance to get to play an instrument in any of this bands: Imago, Paramita, The DAwn, Greenday, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Parokya Ni Edgar & UpDhurmaDown.
- A chance to talk to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo and present to her my ideas in governing the country. Let her know how much I admire her for being so courageous despite the political crisis her administration is going through.
- A chance to read all the books I wanted from my favorite author.
- A chance to tour around Europe with my whole family. Can't wait to go to Greece, visit Poland, ride the gondola in Venice, visit the Louvre, St. Peter's Bascilica, the leaning tower of Pisa....
- A chance to say sorry to all the people I have hurt and for all the mean things I have done to myself.
- A chance to smile often.
- A chance to strenghten my spiritualism.
- A chance to appreciate the things that I have.
- A chance to get to know msyelf.
- A chance to have all the chances that I could have.
And as I review the list of chances, it turns out to be a wish list. A sad wish list.

how heroes think
Yey! Got my BIR ID nah!! Went their at BIR-Mandaue before 9 am and got back right away.
Morning went well, i had a quick breakfast with RJ singing that Tuesday song over at Breakfast. I don't like their guest host this week, this Mark whom I don't really even know.
Sometimes I wish I could have the gift to teleport, stop the time, go back to the past and head to the future.Arriving late last night, mama greeted me with a news that he saw Papa sa TV. I asked why? Oh, naa daw naligsan sa may shell na nag-motor, nakita daw ang utok. Huh! Mama explained to me the details like it was something so normal that would happen to a cat, a dog, or this squirrel that is addicted to my mouse wire. And how did Papa became a part of the story? He was there when the incident happened, i think, he was a witness, and my mind was thinking na basin gi-interview cya.
Then it came back on me that scene sa HEROES wherein NikKi's husband (who also has the same power of Shadow Cat of XMen)saved two people in a car crash sa hi-way, then came that Japanese Guy (i would always forget his name). The car exploded and the Japanese Guy freezed the time, thus, he was able to save Nikki's husband and the two other people in the car. See how nice it is to have such powers and perhaps if I were there when that fateful accident happened yesterday, I could have also freezed time, and perhaps saved his life and that of the driver who hit him.
And as Spiderman hits the big screen sometime next or next, next month, for sure we would again be reliving his famous line, "With great powers comes great responsibilities." And to connect this dreams I had, how i wish I could do something with that fish-bone (which I am sure is as thin as a hair strand)that had caused me this uneasiness in swallowing my pride. Naay saging dinha?
And as the day wears off, I am reminded again of my basic duties. So got to get back from dreams... And why is it so hard to explain things? Why can't just we wait and let things be just like that, no words, no explanations...like a seven-year old kid receiving an answer from her teacher why the sky is blue. No if's and why's.

mouse begets mouse
For the fourth time, my mouse wire got chewed again. Now, I am sure it is a squirrel. So i now have a new but old mouse with neon lights on it.
Ok. So happy ko? Last night, I was really surprised that he came to the office considering that he still has a work at 8pm. I already told him that I was really surprised that he came in the office, it was really so unexpected of him. Wala lang. I'm speechless. Anyways, we had dinner together, a short walk and a little talk.
Smile.
Andre and I talked today over the phone and I missed him so much. For the first time this year we talked, he sounds like a stranger to me. I updated him on what happened with the batch three eyars after he left, and had told him how many already had boyfriends and other things The WORMS had become. Hope to see him.
DUnkin Donuts DAy went well, i suppose. I called up ALmira around 3pm asking her if how was it. As for me, I was stuck in Cebu Pacific (Ayala) for a century of waiting and had met Rami (the LPG guy) for JUG's stuff. I heard my boss' voice...so sullen. I wonder why? Anyways, I was thankful that Lyndon went with me, thus, sharing with the me the long wait.
Oh! It's a saturday! Time for a long night facing the TV... and I'd be a baby sitter tomorrow for Jash... Good luck!!!
As for my YM life, well, there was not much of those blinking blue alerts... and the office is also deserted... Lalalalala.. time to sing... Peace to everyone! Sa tanang mga tawo nga abi nako bayot.. sorry.

Ang Makimi
Gisaway nako ang siomai sa Manila Restaurant gahapon! Well, it's true man sad gyud nga walay lami angi lang siomai kay murag bato! Dry and tasteless! But in fairness, lami kaayo ang makimi nila, pwedep ud parisan og rice kung carbo ang imong tripping but wala na lang ko magEffort gahapon sa rice kay I had a full tummy na coz I had a full breakfast with Almira, Marni & Marvin hours before we went to church.
Sa dihang 10am ang mass ug migikan napud mig hapit nah 10am! Hmm well, nakaabot mi sa homily. And even if it was too hot, the air seems to be very generous so the heat wasn't really that disturbing. When the offering satrted, grabeee, daghnagnadawat sa mga pari oi! HEheheheeh bitaw, priests are really rich especially when its Fiesta!
After the mass, with the Boss and Sir MIlton , we went to the rector's office coz the boss is donating donuts. We talked to Miss Mary (a fat midle-aged lady with a hoarse voice). After the donut talks, niPropose dayon si Boss sa iyang hidden agenda! Wahehehehe Fine! SO expect na lang ta nah Dragon Fireworks an ang magpabuto next year sa Sto. Niño!
Gibiyann gayo namo si Boss.. together with the HR and Sir John Prats, we went to Manila Restaurant. For that! Lami kaayo ang Makimi! Tsulp! With chili sauce dayon... busog!
And yeah nagkagubot nako gamay sa akong mga postings kay pirte na gyud kadaghan sa akong blog nga giUpdate! Waheheheheh Lingaw ning livejournal parehas sa akong blogdrive and blogspot.
Happy SINULOG!

2007 is Here!
Finally, my first post for 2007... I was supposed to post something for the past two days but the connection is very slow that I could not get through this site. Anyways, the first days of the year has been kind to me.
January 1, I woke up around 10am hearing Jash's laughter. We again watched ONE PIECE finishing the Sky Island Episode. We finished the last DVD Yotchie had lent to us. At least we finished the fight of the Rubber versus Lightning. Later that afternoon, despite the threat of rain, Jash and Me went with Mama to the church. Of course demanding kaayo si Jash... hahahahaha but I really managed to finish the mass running after Jssh outside, buying him hotdog, popcorn, shake and those plastic toys. Whew! And of course it is a must to be in Jollibee so there we go!
January 2, Back to work again! And i thank God that He made me even stronger than before. That I could survive until May working with creepy people. Hehehehehe Bitaw, seriously, I feel like my boss does not want me to quit here... I just really have this feeling that I won't be having a graceful exit. Come what may... plans are plans...
January 3, (My Post Over at my Blogdrive) woke up happily coz the boss is away although it's just for today but at least I do not need to endure the day seeing his goatie face!
Jash was so cute last night! I brought this little box of chocolate from BGF No. 2 and when I opened it Jash's reaction was worth freezing ( Oh! how i wish I could took a photo of that moment, uhmm... a video would be nice).
Hmmm... the internet connection is still not doing well coz I could not update my blog in blogspot... at least I have this account in blogdrive. I am just arranging some of the receipts for reimbursements and waiting for 5pm coz I am really determined to go home.
Uhumnnn samokan lang ko anang family matters... they're really sores coz they kept on bugging me... samoka oi! Can't they do things on their own?
Anyways, the Gesalem Ads is planning to have a night away at Kawasan this January 13 till 14.. we would be leaving after work so gabii nami maabot their! And I really want Yotchie to go with me... well, hopefully mukuyog cya.. and nagPlan ko na magTent lang mi para bibo.. ahaahahaha
Till here lang sa...
January 4, I spent the whole day seating down in the conference room listening over Updates and it really drained my energy! As in! labad kaayo akong ulo! Huh! As in! Stiff na kaayo ako feeling and my back super aches... and of course... since last night kay gi-away man ko ni Yotchie, I was really really restraining my self not to text him but then again. I could not afford not to call nor text him.. cge na lang gud...
Back to the meeting. their was a discussion over Ayala Center on whther to close down the outlet or not.. as in! labad na kaayo sa ulo ang ilang debate.. it's like chicken and egg... near vomitting nako maminaw sa ilang storya but cge na lang I was there to write down what they are talking.. i need to document it... shit.
January 5, And yeah, I survived the week, saturday na lang ang i-struggle! And I am looking forward for a pretty weekend since Yotchie would be coming home and the boss is in Manila.. Yehey! And yeah, we would be having a mass today sa lobby...
Happy New Year! Welcome to Year of the Boar!

Is There A Science To Cuteness?
You bet! I was really struck by that question and so I began my search through the definition of "Cute" after watching a video from a CNN Cute-reporter and reading and seeing an article over at Cute Overload. Here's what i got from Wikipedia:
Cuteness is a delicate and attractive kind of beauty commonly associated with youth, innocence, and helplessness. Human infants and many baby animals define "cuteness" for most people, and the standard characteristics of infancy are typically used to judge the cuteness of other phenomena (for example, plush toys or adult animals). A simple way to define cuteness is this: an object is cute if it instills in humans a desire to touch it.
Cuteness is usually characterized by (though not limited to) some combination of infant-like physical traits, especially small body size with a disproportionately big head, large eyes, a small nose, dimples, and chubby limbs. Infantile personality traits, such as playfulness, fragility, helplessness, innocence, affectionate behavior and a need to be nurtured are also generally considered cute.

And so the search for who is the cutest of all the cutest began. And the Jolie-Pitt baby is the one getting the lenses now a days... Why not Jash?

After Nine Years
Elated and blessed financially hours before my trip, I hurriedly boarded a taxi to fetch my ticket. Yotchie had already brought the ticket for me coz I knew for sure that I could not be able to leave the office before 7pm. Although Lyng assured me that tickets will be released at 7pm and that there would still be available tickets even if I arrive at the terminal an hour before departure, I still wanted to make sure that I got the ticket exactly at 7pm (just a habit of mine).
Was so touched that Yotchie made effort to be there earliest even it wasn’t due for releasing. So I was thinking that he deserves a reward, a dozen of choco butternut is perfect.
After cutting through the red tapes, I finally got hold of the “Promo Slip”, which entitles me to a dozen donuts paid via salary deduction (SD).
By this time, my boss has not yet arrived and I can’t leave the office without getting all the papers cleared and signed. There were checks to be signed and papers to be approved so I really need to wait for him. It was already 5:30pm, the accounting pips already deserted their work station (as always – they are referred to us The 5:01’s”).
The waiting was rewarded with a P500 bill and two sets of D10 & M20 (this refers to donuts and munchkins and the number represents the quantity of pieces placed inside the box).
Before going to the pier, I had a quick dinner with Yotchie and then we went to the pier. As an occasional traveler, a pier and its standard procedures is totally alien to me. If I had a mirror right that very moment, I’d surely look like a stranx ded-worried passenger not knowing what to do. I did not know that we really have to board that bus so that we could board the ship. Eckoy and Janjan shared the same worries.
I was texting Yotchie every minute telling him my worries. I would really want him to come with me but I guess that he has work to do…
Txt mssg from Yotchie:
Im on my way home.. d ku ka 2o mularga ka kw ra usa.. mingaw ku nmu.. -10/28/06 9:34 pm
Bai? Naguol ku 4 u.. ingun pa lagi ayaw nlang daun.. -10/28/06 9:48pm
Finally, minutes before departure, saw the two of them and transferred nearer to their deck. I could not soundly sleep aboard boats (no matter how big it might be). Kept on checking the digital numbers on my cellphone and its signal, checked if I could still see some lights in the island and then glance on the other passengers. I was bringing an unbinded copy of Angels & Demons (printed by Yotchie), so at least my thought was occupied with something else instead of thinking tragic water-accident-stories.
A & D is the second Dan Brown novel I’ve read after Da Vinci Code. I would really have wanted to read it a year ago but did not find the luxury to do so. There were few copies back then circulated around classmates and the reservation is too long. Buying a copy was not my option either, so, I waited this far and get the time to read on a very inappropriate place.
Conscious of the black water just a few feet away from where I enclosed my security, I managed to take short naps and then woke up every time we hit a big wave.
Docking calculated on time, I prepared my things but Lyng txted Eckoy that we will leave at 3:30am earlier that day, find a tricycle and head for the terminal to look for a V-Hire bound for Garcia-Hernandez. After waking up two of my companions whom I just met that night and the other one I met just once, we briskly made our way out of the pier.
After nine years, I’m finally back in Bohol. Oh! In case nobody knows, Bohol has been a very significant and memorable place on why I was convinced that I should pursue a journalistic related career in college. Nine years ago, I won in the new writing category (Filipino) in the Regional Schools Press Conference. I was on cloud nine by that time. With happiness as short as mine, it was also an opportunity for me to meet new people and to believe that I could also make myself proud through simple paragraphs.
Snapping back, we were approached by this twenty-something driver and told us that the fare is P150 only but for us he’ll just ask for P100. I giggly reacted. Oh! Ok! We told him thanks but we are waiting for someone or something… to make the story short, a kind driver drove us for P20/head to the terminal but we did not really arrived in there for a bus headed to Jagna passed by and so we boarded on it.
Although we passed through Lyng’s place, Eckoy and Janjan only reacted when we were already in the church. Yeah! Anyways, we arrived, had a quick breakfast, took a bath and changed clothes (of course) then waited for 10:00 am for the Ninong and Ninang’s seminar.
Zoelle’s baptism…
Fifteen minutes before time, we were informed that we need to wear skirts! I was not bringing one and so please refer to the photos.
I was still sleepy when I stepped inside their church. Its structure is mainly made out of lumber and wood, it was just painted to conceal the pillars and make you think that it was made out of cement. The structure is already dilapidated; its doors were already old and needs reconstruction. Lyng paid P200 upon listing our names There were only two babies scheduled for baptism that time, the other one was two years old. I thought that we’d be attending a mass then baptism would follow. Then I understand that there were only few babies unlike here in the city, and there was no scheduled mass at that time.
I slept for most of the time while the old lady conducted the seminar. Her voice is so inaudible and even if she wanted to make her discussion humorous, I could not ride on it. For sure, she could visibly see me sleeping but at least I did not snore. (smile)
Around 11am I guess, we were ushered to come forward in the altar, Zoelle was on her best cutie dress (Lyng informed me that it was the same dress she wore when she was baptized). I expected that the priest would look older, but he was younger than I expected. Perhaps, he looks like he just sworn in the vow of chastity a few weeks ago. Hehehehe
Woow!
I'd be updating this post with photos of Zoelle’s baptism as soon as I get a copy from Lyng. So just keep on coming back.
(to be continued)

Hollow! Swallow!
It’s a Wednesday and so0oo happy coz at least my boredom would be lessen to half a day and I get to enjoy a lunch outside the office for F R E E.
I always have this problem of not finishing my blog entries because its either I am haggling for time or its just that I don’t feel like finishing it.
Reading othr blogs frustrates me. I can't help myself comparing it with other people. Sooo Stupid of me, right? Anyways, today has got to be something less demeanding. Won't be too hard on myself. Could I?
Gammy and her team stopped by here sa office for a picture taking (since DUNKIN DONUTS would be the one to sponsor their uniforms for the Aboitiz Cup this weekened). It's so0oo really funny and unfathomable how she managed to follow me. Ever since i get to know her, five years ago, somewhere along the line, she always manage to stumble along my path. And I'm a bit annoyed about it.
I could not also understand why she has to show that long-dead affection to me in public knowing that deep inside there's no more room for it!
