Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go. -Author Unknown
Let your tears come. Let them water your soul. ~Eileen Mayhew
It's so curious: one can resist tears and 'behave' very well in the hardest hours of grief. But then someone makes you a friendly sign behind a window, or one notices that a flower that was in bud only yesterday has suddenly blossomed, or a letter slips from a drawer... and everything collapses. ~Colette
With what a deep devotedness of woe
I wept thy absence - o'er and o'er again
Thinking of thee, still thee, till thought grew pain,
And memory, like a drop that, night and day,
Falls cold and ceaseless, wore my heart away!

I am also a great fan of wordpress for i have an account in there but it's just that I can't freely move around the space (considering my limited knowledge on widgets). There is no chatbox too unlike blogdrive which has it's ready-to-use tag board.

for happy people

The title of this book intrigued me. It has my name on it. And I wanna know the " Simple Secrets" of happy people.
"Scientists and academics have spent entire careers investigating what makes people happy. But hidden in obscure scholarly journals and reports, their research is all too often inaccessible to ordinary people. At last, social scientist and psychologist David Niven, Ph.D., distills the scientific gobbledygook of over a thousand of the most compelling and important studies on happiness into easy-to-digest nuggets of advice. Each of the hundred practices, attitudes, and habits for happiness is illustrated with a clear example and illuminated by a straightforward explanation of the science behind it to show you how to transform a ho-hum existence into a full and happy life."Maybe I'd start opening this book aside from consulting it to look for words to fill the gaps of this page. I'd start this Monday.

Give Juan What Juan Owns
So what do you think? That's my Mama's work of art... Mama is the best when it comes to our nails. She had taken care of it and we are so glad that we have a nail doctor/beautician on-call always.Tonight, she said she'd check my toe nails. Hehehehe and despite her growing age, her craftsmasnhip in creating the best quality polished nails has never deteriorated. And take note, her craftsmasnhip as what I gleefully termed it has been very helpful to us financially. And i believe that even if Mama is just a plain housewife, her very few clients which she arranged in schedules had stayed with her for years giving her as high as P1,000 per service. Yep. That's my Mama's rate. But for friends, she does it for a hundred box and P40-70 for my aunties.

How A Stupid Boss Acts
I was hoping that today I could talk to him and let him know that I am quitting and how I wish I could say on his face the words that I really wanted him to hear. Hahahaha but I was planning not to say much so as to avoid further questions.
My morning didn't start right. I saw Dennies Pig. And all I want to do is strangle him so that he could shut his filthy mouth! Oh, forgive me for my violence but I can't really help it. Dili nako ganahan saputon.
- I hate cleaning after his mess. And he has no right to lecture me about organization coz in the first place his life is so disorganize.
- He thinks he can do what he wants. Ad if he can't do it he let his people do it and forced them to produce result.
- He thinks he owns your time. He does not know that you also have a life. He always think about himself. (Sa dihang pirmi ni siya late.)
- Time-Out nako kay Time-In niya. For that, he should hire someone nga parehas niya!

Ang Hikot Nga Kapitalista
I was suffering a head-splitting headache yesterday and I believe that it was evident that the boss asked if I had a date the previous night. Little did he know that my headache was caused by him, the simple tasks that became strenuous, the lack of respect for time, his stupidity and the oh! so many reasons why the company should fire their COO. But he is one of the owners and they are a bunch of irresponsible capitalist, they do not care whether their people suffers or were they given enough motivation. As what he said, “The most important thing is the bottom line”.
Suffice it to say, all his proudly words in the conference room, melts like butter into our ears. And even if he says that I get to have an additional stipend (let’s just put it that way), I would never and ever barter my soul for it. With high hopes, I look forward for the end of the tunnel which Yotchie and I always discussed. That there would always be that light at the end of every darkness.
Today, we are asked to have our measurements taken for the office uniform. For the past two days, I was contemplating on whether I should avail it or not. Fifty percent will be shouldered by the company, the other half on our own expense. I’m three months away from getting out of here and I also though na of course dba, mas nice pud if I get to wear one so that dili nako maglabad cge huna-huna on what to wear everyday, and I’d look presentable as well. For uniformity’s sake, maybe I’ll have my 1,000 deducton a justice.
And yeah, was so happy last night, spending some time with Yotchie after a stressful day. And how I wish I could spend more time with my own personal life than being stuck in this casserole of lukot.

This Total Quality They Are Talking About
And I believe that no matter how long the discussion is about this oh so big damn word QUALITY is to have it started in ourselves. How could we make quality our lifestyle if reality check we could never afford that kind of quality the way other people perceived it to be.

Rolling For the Next Months
And i hear the phone ringing again! Whew! Saputon ko!
I still wanna sleep but what else could I do I have to kick myself up! Time to work again but at least it's already Thursday and Sunday is just a 2 dream night aways.
Hmmm yesterday, I spent half of the day seatin down again for the manager's meeting. My batchmates did not attend! Hah! I mean Almira, Kathrina and John Prats made the perfect excuses to skip Tita's lashes! Smile! What a pretty day! ANd the meeting starts to roll! As always, I dread of hearing that stupid question, "Asa man ta mangaon?" I replied barely moving my gaze to the speaker, "Dimsum, Ayala."
So where it's gonna be? Until we reached the parking lot, they were still acting so stupid! Fine, ana lang jud na sila! They're special adults!!!
Today is going to be another battle of phonecalls and dusty files to be arranged! Hail to the filing cabinet! Wala man gud silay budget mao nga sila rapud ang mag-antos! Waheheheheh Tawa na lang ta ani nila! There are a lot of things to arrange.. and hopefully.. I could finish this before I expire!
Be strong!

I'm Seeing Sleepy People
Starting today, I have to wake up at 530 and/or earlier coz our time in is at 7am in the office! Terrible! We are not directly affected by this ceremonial routes, road closures and all but we need to adjust because traffic daw and ang mga tawo leaving far from the city might not make it on time in the office! Waahhh! Why do we all need to suffer waking up that very early!?
For me, the organizers had been acting insanely and politicians have been jumping over this matter. How I wish Cebu wouldn't host another event like this! I don't see it as an oppurtunity to boost our tourism in fact it's ruining it!

Those Creepy People
It's kinda busy but I wasn't really having so much to do. It's just that I was greeted by stupid people I don't wanna see in such a beautiful early morning.
A always, Mr. Econogas kept bugging me on printing matters! Wala lang jud cya laing mabuhat but magsige lang usik-usik sa ink! And yeah, he's on top of my list of Creepy People!
And once agin, Yotchie called up that he won't be going home tonight! Postpone again! It's so sad.. I was just really wondering if what happened to their payroll.. well, it's Christmas, bonuses should be give on time! Huhuhuhummmm But it's also a blessing in disguise coz he was able to spend a lot of time with me. We had breakfasts, lunches and dinners together since the 23rd!
He even brought two new addition to my originals: Phantom of the Opera and Swrodfish! Touched kaayo ko! We also watched Pulse ( a thriller). It has a nice plot and lots of lesson to learn about the worl wide web and technology in general. Was able to watch it's trailer on the cinema a long time ago and since Papa had this DVD mania, he absent-mindedly bought Pulse. Lingaw ang story! You should watch it if you missed the big screen....

A Merry Exchange of Gifts
We would be having our exchanging gift in the office today, a short program will follow and a free lunch... well, I guess that there will be two lechons ( which I know for sure is that kuwang gyud ni) Ahehehe whether daghan or gamay, hurot gihapon!
Saw Almira today rich in purple shades and during our daily morning prayer, my eyes are again searching for people's expression during the reading of the gospel, the way they look at me and how they reacted... It already becomes a habit of mine (can't help it). Seven months now, and May 22 is just around the corner...Wosh!
Sigh, hope that I could go home early tonight.. We would be celebrating our 2nd anniversarry! I just really hope I could go home early so that I could still collect my 13th month and head to Leona or if it's already close, to Red Ribbon. But I really do hope Leona would still be open till 9pm! I am really planning on surprising him, lit candle and give him a big hug! Even if this 24th pa ang among BIG DAY, he would be going home to Tacloban man this 23rd so we are celebrating it earlier...
So0oo excited for tomorrow...

Reminiscing A Manic Monday On A Busy Tuesday
I leaved early at the office so as to process the reactivation and replacement of my boss' sim at the SunCellular office and after that I went to Cebu Pacific for the ticket refunds. Unfortunately, I was greeted by a sea of strangers who were waiting for their numbers to be called. There was the American-looking guy so irritated because his number was already called when he went out. If you have already booked a flight, you get the pink one, and if you do not have any reservation yet, you need to get the white ticket number, refunds and rebooking also falls under the white one. Whew! You could only imagine me standing there and then going out peeping through different stalls while my mind was left at Cebu Pacific. Yeah, in case your'e wondering which Cebu Pacific I was reffering to, it's at Robinson's. It's a small one. Not enough to accomodate hundreds of customers. The seats were very limited. The service is so slow.
They were still serving number 196 while my number is 289. Sounds fun, right?
Anyways, I was patiently waiting for my turn and was hoping that yotchie would arrive so that at least I could get away from boredom. I really forgot to bring a book so that I could forget the time but I left it in the office I coz was in a hurry to leave. It was already 3.30pm and I need to be there at Robinson's before 4pm as not to extend my ordeal. But as expected, it did happen.
ALmost 7pm and 20 numbers more to go for my turn! Yey! Anyways, the good side of it is that I finally accomplishedthe suncellular and cebu pacific things-to-do! Yehey!
Yotchie and I rode a jeep to Ramos coz he said he wants to eat ngohiong (but noh!) CLOSE siya! (let's smile) but on our way we passed by a smoking house (hahahahaha), humot au ilang bbq! So go jud dayon! I had my share of chicken skin while has has his backbones.
After dinner, we talked about our high school days coz i really wanted what kind of student he was back then). Was really curious if what kind of childhood he had.

Ang Drama Sa Akong Mug
Every Manager's Meeting, this mug is the first attendee. Well, it has been a silent audience to the petty discussions over dilapidated delivery vans, numbers of throw-aways, the financial statementsand most of all the marketing fuss! From iced tea, milo and coffee, it has shared with me memories of getting through the morning without getting bored. Having a mug is a commodity that one needs to survive through day and I'm glad that even if this mug already has a chip on its rim, it still is something that one could be proud of!
Six more months to go dear mug... we're going to move out. Soon.
MY VERY FIRST CHRISTMAS GIFT
NaTouch gyud ko coz iya jud gipalit ang DVD Player... And even if he lost his phone bisan guol ko kay ok na lang! Well, a phone is just a phone! At least it does not cost that much compared to Sir Jonie's N93 phone (yeah!) nawagtang pud cya because he just forgot where it was. Basin nahabilin lang niya somewhere... huhuhuhummnn he's not concerned with the monetary value but rather with the contents of that phone (Yah know, all the photos, videos, contact numbers and all... eow!)
Back to the story, yesterday I received my very first Christmas Gift from Yotchie! And it's not jut for me but for the whole family pajud! As in! Super duper happy! Of course, pag-abot jud dayon niya kay tan-aw dayon mig ONE PIECE... if you could only see Jash's reaction!!! He clapped his hands and shouted "yehey!" Cute kaayo nga bata! Swear, it was such a very beautiful Christmas present from him (even if para sa uban kay materialistic kaayo cya and common but it really has something... if you could only see Jash's reactions, his smile, laughter) And of course me too! Was so glad I could already watch ONE PIECE and NARUTO fr0m the very start! Hahahahaha childish kaayo akong dreams but anyways that's my dream, who cares!
Basta, super duper with the gift I received!
Thank you so much Yotchie!!! Muwahhhhh Merry Christmas!!!
