Election day didn't stop us from going up north for our jackfruit story fieldwork... (October 25) We were supposed to leave early but nagkaProblema gamay and so late nami nakagikan. Together with Kuya Levie (who patiently drove us till dark to the towns of Medellin, Daanbantayan, San Remegio, Bogo and Tabogon, Tanjay for the video, Lindsey the editor and PA, and Jessa for the script...we went school hopping and ate everything that teachers & principals offered to us. We are forever thankful to their generosity! :) Missing barangay election was worth it!!!
